Over the weekend of Feb. 8-10, 2019, Lipscomb Academy hosted its fifteenth annual Art Event on the McCadams Athletic Center. The MAC was reworked into an attractive venue displaying a wide range of media that include painting, jewelry and woodworking, that includes the paintings of artist Mary Miller Veazie of Murfreesboro. For Community Commissions, DOT arranges for an engineering evaluation by a NYS licensed engineer; whereas for Arterventions, the applicant is responsible for hiring an engineer to prepare the necessary documentation. Partner organizations and/or artists are required to sign a legal settlement with DOT and supply a certificate of insurance coverage naming the City as a further insured. As per the settlement, the artist receives credit score, sole possession, and copyright of the ultimate design and art work, but is required to increase to the City and the companion group the best to a royalty-free, perpetual license to use any depiction of the paintings for non-commercial functions. Disney FREE Art Event: Oct 25-26th CO Springs

Proceeds from the event funded 30 scholarships for college kids whose families are facing a brief-term crisis, such as a job loss or medical emergency. The Westford Regional Art Event is a volunteer-driven program with a passion and function to offer an annual event designed to showcase emerging and established artists within our immediate and surrounding communities. The Art Event is Lipscomb Academy’s main fundraiser that features greater than 70 participating artists, with 30 p.c of each artwork sale benefiting the varsity.
