As we celebrate the countless blessings our city has received in the past seven decades, we also celebrate the 33rd year of the MassKara Festival, which has become a testament of the good life we enjoy as a people.

This year’s MassKara will celebrate the theme “Life’s Good in Bacolod,” to show the world how abundant life is in the City of Smiles.

Today, we are happy to invite everyone—our own people and Filipinos everywhere, as well as foreigners—to come (back) to Bacolod and join us in this celebration.

You will witness how Bacolod has significantly grown in recent years, but how, interestingly, its people remain sweet and its lifestyles as exuberant as ever.
